Hippo Inns, which operates a collection of 12 London pubs founded by Rupert Cleverly, has appointed Adrian Laws as its new operations director.
The latest pub news from the group states Laws joins Hippo Inns following a three-year stint as area manager of Oakman Inns.
Prior to Oakman Inns, Laws was previously a general manager at Big Easy and Browns, Mayfair.
He has also held a number of management roles including general and openings manager at The Fox and Hounds, The Windmill (Premium Country Dining Group), The St. George & Dragon and Thames Riviera Hotel.
Laws will play a key role in the continued growth of Hippo Inns and be responsible for day-to-day operations, as well as enhancing service standards across the group.
He replaces Hossey Saghri, who has held the role since 2016.
“Hossey leaves with our very best wishes and I hope we can work together in the future,” comments Clevely.
“Adrian brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector and joins us at a very exciting time.”
Hippo Inns is opening its 12th site, The White Haus, in Farringdon next week.
