Professionals at Play has opened the doors to its first Star Pins concept.
Professionals at Play, the group behind Roxy Ball Room and King Pins, has opened the doors to its first Star Pins concept.
Debuting in Coventry, Star Pins has opened in West Orchards Shopping Centre, offering a variety of family-friendly games, including ten-pin bowling, mini golf, bumper cars, tech darts, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, American pool, a shooting pod, ping pong and an arcade.
"We’re thrilled to open our very first Star Pins venue in the heart of Coventry’s West Orchards Shopping Centre," says James Travis, brand manager at Star Pins. "This exciting new location brings a fun-filled experience to the local community, featuring bowling, mini-golf, shuffleboard, bumper cars and so much more. We can’t wait to celebrate with our new neighbours and offer a place where friends and families can come together, have fun, and create lasting memories."

In August 2024, Roxy Leisure Holdings announced a name change to Professionals at Play, creating a group brand for the competitive socialising operations Roxy Leisure and Pins Leisure. Pins Leisure is made up of bowling-led concepts King Pins and Star Pins.
The new Coventry venue is open until 10pm every weekday and midnight on weekends, with a separate access for guests to use on Smithford Way after the shopping centre is closed.
In terms of food, guests can choose a range of options, including hot dogs and pizzas, and a sharing menu with dishes such as garlic flatbread, nacho sharer and a barbecue chicken nacho sharer.
There’s also a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks, including slushies, draught beers and cider, cocktails, wine and more.
In November 2024, Roxy Leisure announced it will be bringing its multi-format competitive socialising concept Roxy Ball Room to London next year.
