Yorkshire's Grantley Hall to launch pub project
Grantley Hall has announced it will launch its own country pub.
Five-star North Yorkshire hotel Grantley Hall has announced it will launch its own country pub in the heart of the neighbouring village of Grantley.
With a focus on seasonal dishes, regional produce and Yorkshire hospitality, Grantley Arms will offer both hotel guests and locals a relaxed yet refined setting. The pub is located a two-minute drive from Grantley Hall, which is privately owned by Valeria Sykes.
At the helm of the operation will be chef Gavin Swift, currently the senior sous chef at Grantley Hall, who will take on the role of chef patron.
The menu will showcase seasonal dishes with a twist on classic pub favourites, all made using local ingredients from across the region.

"Having been part of the Grantley Hall team for several years, I’m proud to take everything we stand for – exceptional quality, local ingredients, and genuine Yorkshire hospitality – into a relaxed, countryside setting. The pub is a chance to celebrate great food in a way that feels approachable and familiar, while still upholding the high standards our guests know and love."
What's on the inside?
Inside, the business says the interior will offer a sophisticated yet laid back setting that reflects the timeless character of a traditional village pub.
The space will feature elegant touches and comfortable corners, including seating by the fireplace. Outside, the terrace will have views of the surrounding Yorkshire countryside.

Grantley Hall's restaurants include the Michelin-starred Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall, Bar & Restaurant EightyEight, Fletchers Restaurant and seasonal pop-ups in The Orchard.
It also has Valeria’s Champagne & Cocktail Bar.
