Heartwood Inns opens sixth pub with rooms
Heartwood Collection has opened The Ragged Robin in Godalming.

The expansion and development programme of Heartwood Inns continues this week, as it opens the doors to its sixth pub with rooms.
The Ragged Robin in Godalming continues Heartwood's plans to grow its offering to more than 400 rooms by 2027.
Formerly known as The Manor Inn, the pub traded under the Beefeater and Premier Inn brands, but has now been renamed The Ragged Robin as a nod to the varied flora and fauna that can be found in the meadows surrounding the pub.
Located on the outskirts of the historic market town of Godalming, Surrey, and backing on to the River Wey, The Ragged Robin has undergone a sympathetic multi-million pound refurbishment.

Outside, the large garden has been landscaped with the new terrace and pergolas taking advantage of views of the river and the meadows. The garden has space for a further 124 covers and is served by its own dedicated bar. Guests visiting The Ragged Robin will also be able to access the pub from the garden via its own mooring that leads directly onto the River Way.
The pub has 19 boutique bedrooms that have been extensively refurbished. They range from cosy ‘Snugs’ to ‘Really Fancy’ rooms with several boasting free-standing baths.
"We are delighted to be opening The Ragged Robin and to have brought this beautiful building back to life," says Richard Ferrier, CEO of Heartwood Collection. "We have been huge admirers of Godalming for many years and to have this beautiful ‘pub with rooms’ now open is incredibly satisfying."
