Entries open for Classic Cocktail Competition
The 2025 Classic Cocktail Competition is now open for entries.
Bartenders from all over the UK are once again being asked to show off their classic drink creations, as the Classic Cocktail Competition returns.
With entries now open, The Classic Cocktail Competition tasks pub, bar, hotel and restaurant bartenders to create six different classic cocktails each, all served in their own signature style in strictly timed heats.
The event's mission is to encourage the trade to spend more time thinking about how to serve spectacular classic cocktails to UK consumers. To enter, all bartenders have to do is register their details here.
The 2025 final will take place The Refinery at Regent's Place, London, where 15 selected bartenders will go head-to-head in a bid to win the title of Bartender of the Year.
An absolute classic
"Last year's Classic Cocktail Competition delivered so many incredible variations on drinks we thought we knew all too well," says Tristan O'Hana, editor of Pub & Bar magazine, which hosts the event. "Ultimately, Aidan Beaumont from bar brand operator Arc Inspirations was named the Bartender of the Year, following a flawless performance. Can anyone match his calibre come October?"
After the heats during the day, the winners will be announced at a private reception held immediately after the competition.
