Two senior leaders have been brought in at East of England pub group Chestnut, ready to play pivotal roles in driving forward its three-year expansion plan.
The Chestnut Group, led by Philip Turner, owns and manages 22 pubs with rooms and big house hotels across the East of England. The latest recruitment will see Henry Fairbanks take on the role as director of acquisitions and wholesale, and Ollie Trezise to lead operations.
Chestnut’s three-year growth target to acquire and integrate new businesses into the group will see it investing in pubs with rooms and boutique hotels that have long been the centre of their local communities.
Fairbanks previously led Chestnut’s hospitality operations since 2020, while Trezise was a regional director at City Pub Company.
"Our three-year plan sets out a clear vision for sustainable and strategic growth, focused on acquiring businesses that align with our brand and value," says Turner. "Henry has played an important role in shaping our operational culture and guest experience. His knowledge of the business and leadership experience make him essential in driving us through this next phase of our growth."
In June, The White Horse in Blakeney joined the Chestnut collection, followed by the acquisition of The Red Lion in East Bergholt in early July.
