Daly's reopens as Daly's Wine Bar & Beer Hall

The venue now offers two distinct experiences across two floors.

A popular wine bar based opposite the Courts of Justice on The Strand, London, has reopened following a complete makeover.

The venue formerly known as Daly's is now Daly's Wine Bar & Beer Hall, offering two distinct experiences across two floors.

The Wine Bar

With a wine list curated by Berkmann Wine Cellar, Daly's Wine Bar features a vast range of vintages by the glass, bottle and magnum. An extensive list of liqueurs, cocktails and non-alcoholic options is also available.

Head chef Tahreem Hossain's menu features elevated British comfort dishes that pair well with glasses of crisp whites or full-bodied reds. Guests can choose from sharing snacks such as prawn and duck fat rillettes, Cobble Lane charcuterie boards and artisanal British cheese boards, alongside Oxfordshire steaks and elevated British classics.

The Wine Bar also houses the private Court Room, which can accommodate up to 30 seated guests or 50 standing.

The Beer Hall

Downstairs is the Beer Hall, offering darts, sports and 16 beers on draught. When it comes to food, choices include giant pretzels and sausage swirls with honey and mustard, loaded short rib nachos, pulled lamb croquettes and Cheddar rarebit with grilled chorizo and guindilla chilli.

Guests can also pre-book one of two interactive dart boards or watch important sporting fixtures on the big screen.

The Beer Hall will be celebrating Oktoberfest this month, with a special menu of German classics reimagined.

General manager Bartek Koltunski comments: "Daly's has always been a special place, and we are incredibly excited to share its new identity with the public. The refurbishment allows us to celebrate both the tradition of a classic wine bar and the modern demand for a dynamic beer hall. We've created space where you can enjoy a glass of Champagne one day and catch a sports game with a pint the next."
