Chick 'n' Sours to take on pub residency
Chick ‘n’ Sours has begun a three-month residency at The Crown & Castle in Dalston.
Cult fried chicken outfit Chick 'n' Sours is now trading out of an east London pub.
The David Wolanski-led business has begun a three-month residency at The Crown & Castle in Dalston, marking a return to Kingsland Road, not far from the spot where Chick 'n' Sours first made its name.
Chick 'n' Sours originally opened up the road in Haggerston in 2015.
The news comes at a busy time for the operator, having just secured its place in the final of the very first Fried Chicken Championships.
"Following on from the closure of the restaurants and the success of our residency at Big Chill, returning to Kingsland Road means a lot," says Wolanski. "This area is a huge part of the Chick 'n' Sours story, and it feels right to be cooking here again. We can’t wait to see some familiar old faces again and introducing newbies to the Chick 'n' Sours experience."
The residency will feature the dishes that helped build the brand’s reputation: fried chicken sandwiches, wings in glazes and tenders dusted in the signature seaweed 'crack' seasoning.
