Cubitt House partners with podcast for Six Nations

Cubitt House pub group has announced a collaboration with the Rugby Lives podcast.

To mark the start of the Six Nations, London's Cubitt House pub group has announced a collaboration with the Rugby Lives podcast.

The farming edition of the podcast, recorded at Cubitt House's Coach Maker’s Arms in Marylebone, will be released to coincide with selected games.

It features Cubitt's chef director Ben Tish (above left) and host Alex Mead in conversation with former professional rugby players Julian White MBE, Graham Dawe and Kenny Logan, who have turned their attention to farming since retiring from the game.

7 February, England V Wales

Kicking off the series on Saturday 7 February, England Rugby World Cup winner White discusses his time playing professional rugby union as a prop for Leicester Tigers, England and the British Lions, and now his life as owner of a herd of south Devon cows.

21 February, England V Ireland

Former Bath and England hooker Graham Dawe has embraced farming through a farmshare at Coombshead Farm in Devon. Today, Dawe can be found moving his Mangalitza pigs or Dexter cattle through the Coombshead Valley, applying his expertise in regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming practices. His episode will coincide with the England v Ireland match on Saturday 21 February.

14 March, Scotland V Ireland

Rounding off the series, former Scotland and Wasp winger, Logan will be in conversation following his retirement and 70-cap career. Now, using his farming background, he raises money for charities such as My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. His episode will be released alongside Scotland’s final game on Saturday 14 March versus Ireland.
