Fourth Foodservice Football fixture set for June

H2O Publishing will be hosting its fourth annual Foodservice Football fixture in aid of Cancer Research UK.

H2O Publishing will be hosting its fourth annual Foodservice Football fixture in aid of Cancer Research UK on 18 June 2026.

Since 2023, the match has been held in memory of much-missed H2O Publishing editor Morag Wilson, who died from cancer in 2019. The charity fundraiser will once again be held at the oldest club in London, Cray Wanderers FC in Chislehurst.

H2O Publishing is looking for 32 players of mixed abilities from across the hospitality and foodservice industries to be split into two teams. Anyone who works in the industry is encouraged to either play or support the event.

There will also be a charity raffle, which H2O is seeking prize donations for. It is suggested that players donate £50 per person, while spectator suggestion is £10 each.

"A truly incredible charity"

"We will be supporting Cancer Research UK this year, which is a truly incredible charity," says Daniel Hillman, director for H2O Publishing and organiser of the event. "The day marks a great opportunity to get together and have fun, all while supporting a great cause.

“I know I speak for my colleagues, and many across the industry, when I say that Morag is hugely missed. I am pleased to say that her son Jamie will be returning to act as our official mascot.”
