London site to give away surplus dinners

Pergola on the Wharf will give Londoners free Christmas dinners, following a number of cancellations.

Pergola on the Wharf, the Incipio Group site that opened in June 2021, is set to give Londoners free Christmas dinners, following a number of bookings cancellations

Pergola is putting surplus ingredients to good use by encouraging guests to make a £5 charitable donation to Hospitality Action in return for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

The inititiative runs between Monday 20 and Friday 24 December from 12pm until 6pm. Details of how to donate to Hospitality Action will be available in the venue.

“Like so many other restaurants and pubs, we are receiving cancellations at Pergola on the Wharf," says Paul Loebenberg, operations director at Incipio Group. "It is our first Christmas trading and we’re determined to finish the year on a high. By offering a free Christmas dinner to our guests, we can remain open for our team who all shared they would prefer to be working. We can support our suppliers and share some goodwill for those in need through our donations.”

Pergola on the Wharf is waterside site that boats panoramic views over the city from a wrap-around terrace. Incipio Group currently runs five sites across the capital.
