Tom is a first responder and they both fully support local charity events, including the annual Boxing Day duck race and the Santa Dash for Charity. Most recently, they won the Community Hero Award at the Thwaites Hospitality Awards 2022.

“It is a privilege to acknowledge Tom and Pam’s hard work and dedication over the last 35 years," says Andrew Buchanan, director of pubs and brewing at Daniel Thwaites. "This is a historic occasion, one that is fitting for a couple who have devoted their lives to supporting the local community.
