Liberation completes first Community Engagement Week
Over 300 employees across the estate have taken part, raising over £23,000 for charity.
Liberation Group has completed its inaugural Community Engagement Week, which saw teams across the company's estate organise working groups and fundraising initiatives to raise money for local charities and causes.
Stretching from Bristol to London’s Mayfair and the Channel Islands, the Community Engagement Week has involved over 300 employees who, between them, have accumulated 1.5 million steps, 20 miles of swimming, 50 dogs walked, 10 beaches cleaned, 100 hours of volunteering, 200 meals prepared and given to those less fortunate and 1,000 cakes baked, to name just a few of the activities organised. Collectively, the company's activities have raised over £23,000.
“We’re absolutely delighted with the incredible work our teams have done, working with such a wide variety of charities and helping to support good causes in the communities we serve," says group CEO, Jonathan Lawson. "The breadth of activities and sheer determination of all involved was quite outstanding.”
