Red Oak Taverns appoints new property and acquisitions director

Red Oak Taverns has strengthened its leadership team.

Red Oak Taverns has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Graeme Bunn in the role of property and acquisitions director.

He will spearhead the group’s pub acquisitions programme aided by the capital raised in Red Oak’s recent refinancing.

“We are delighted to have Graeme join our senior team," says Mark Grunnell, CEO and co-founder of Red Oak Taverns. "He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of our sector and as we begin the next phase of our evolution he will provide both property and strategic advice as we seek to significantly grow our pub estate.”

Bunn, who was previously managing director for Fleurets, will join Red Oak’s main board.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining the Red Oak team and I am looking forward to playing a key role as they continue to develop their business through pub investments and acquisitions,” he says.

Formed in 2011 by Aaron Brown and Grunnell, Red Oak Taverns comprises 208 leased, tenanted and freehold pubs.
